Its Only Werds...

when i get back from lunch break, ESPECIALLY if i go home, i have the HARDEST time starting up again

went home at lunch and FINALLY passed quiz 3 for anatomy / physiology and did so-so on Pre-Exam. i get to take that unlimited times, though, so i will try again later. the nice thing about that, if you do it right and take advantage of it, is that you can see where you need to study and go back over the material. i have a sinking feeling that some of the (other) kids just go back and fix the answers according to the given correct answer...but then -- its my job to worry about my own work ethic and study habits.

so -- i just popped in to try and read a post or two before i try to find out why i can't balance the securities statement for my boss. and i have to post something alsotoo.

sorry if i seem a rude friend lately -- when something is on my heart, i like to "pop in" and post it up before the passin fades. i don't always make time to read, especially with this anatomy / physiology deadline bearing down on me, but i will catch up, i promise.

meanwhile, thanks for being here. i appreciate the friends i've made here and thank God for you all.

There are some things I want to do with this blog that I don't see help for in FAQs or User Info. The things I want to do involve "messing with" the html. I really like one of the other blog templates, but I want to put a picture of my own into it. I think that's not do-able any more, since customizing is no longer available. Then there's the question I sent via e-mail about tweaking the word "More" on cuts (when you use a hyperlink to hide long texts from the post). Perhaps my e-mail to you bounced or I used the wrong one. There is a list of html codes I use on the blog I seek to move from (to here), but I know for certain at least one of them is ineffective "here".

 What is the best way to get assistance here?

Meeting Significance

Ok, sports fans...er...I mean fellow-believer-blogger-peeps...This info is probably in the FAQs and I hope I am not messing up by sharing it, but it helped me tremendously.

 When someone comments on my blog, it is near impossible for me to intereact by returning the read / comment. I am used to another blog site where your id is a hyperlink to your blog. On that blog site, any time you comment on someone's blog post, that someone can click on your name and be directed to your blog site. They can then read your "stuff" and reciprocate the interaction, if desired.

I knew there had to be a way to do that here and I stumbled across it. I know, I know, and I said so -- it's probably in the FAQs, but I haven't made time to go there and study how to use this blog yet! I vascillate between lazy and over-committed! Any way, Here are some hints on how to make sure someone can find you and begin a friendship, commenting back and forth on one another's posts if you want to.

Open your blog as if you are a reading visitor. Highlight the address in your browser bar and right click, select "copy". (My blogsite address is http://loreelle044.christianblogsites.com/blog/) (yours should be very similar except for the part before christianblogsites.com...) Then, when you comment on somoene else's blog, BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE, paste that copied address of yours (right click, select "paste" ) into the last box labeled "Web" (under your comment typing box) and it makes your name a hyper-link to your blog.
